A bantamweight title bout is going to be headlining the upcoming CES MMA 53 card as Dinis Paiva faces Tony Gravely for the vacant championship.

Paiva (11-7-0) has spent his entire professional MMA career in the CES MMA promotion, but is coming off of a loss to Andre Ewell at CES MMA 50. Even though Paiva has spent his entire pro MMA career in the promotion, it is the fight time the fighter is challenging for promotional gold. Paiva has suffered seven defeats in his pro MMA career, but he has yet to suffer a defeat by KO/TKO.

Gravely (14-5-0) is making his CES MMA debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a two bout winning streak. Gravely did compete once in the Legacy Fighting Alliance promotion, defeating Keith Richardson by unanimous decision at LFA 17. Gravely has suffered five defeats as a professional MMA fighter and none of those defeats have come by way of KO/TKO.

CES MMA 53 takes place on Friday, November 2 from the Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island with Dinis Paiva and Tony Gravely headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on AXS TV.
