One fight Bellator MMA veteran Brandon Bell has been arrested in Lejunior, Kentucky for alleged sexual relationship with a fourteen year old girl.
WYMT Mountain News out of Kentucky is reporting that Bell was arrested after the girl’s mother notified police about the situation.
The report also states that Bell had the alleged relationship with the underage girl from June 2017 to July 2017. The report, citing the warrant for the fighter’s arrest, also states that Bell knew the girl was underage during their alleged relationship.
Bell was set to fight UFC veteran Waylon Lowe at a Valor Fights event this February, but the promotion has pulled him from the encounter.
Valor fights also issued two separate statements on the matter, with the first one being to Bloody Elbow:
“Firstly, our thoughts are with the victim of this crime, her family, and her community. When we were made aware of Brandon Bell’s recent arrest, we made the decision to pull him from the event and have no intention of putting him on future cards.”

It was at the Bellator MMA Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race event in August 2017 that Bell competed at, defeating Willis Ben Sergent by unanimous decision.
Despite the news of Bell’s alleged illegal sexual relationship with a minor, it should be noted the the Bellator MMA veteran is innocent until proven guilty.
