Bobby Green returns to action this June at UFC 225, facing Clay Guida in a lightweight division encounter.

The UFC veteran has some personal issues with retired boxer Floyd Mayweather, mainly due to Mayweather’s apparent disrespect for the sport of MMA.

“I feel like Mayweather is playing with us, like trolling,” Green told MMA Junkie Radio. “Don’t troll my sport. Don’t play. This is not a game over here. We will kill you. You think this is a cakewalk? I will kill you if you step in the ring with me.”

Mayweather has been teasing a potential professional MMA debut lately, even saying there is a 50% chance he could compete in the sport this year.

Green’s issues aren’t just with Mayweather, but a lot of other boxers who allegedly have disrespect for mixed martial arts.

“I don’t feel like boxers respect us, but if you put us in the streets, you’re not going to hit me with one shot and think you’re going to knock me out,” said Green. “I’ll kill you. I’ll strangle you out in the back of a parking lot, and you’ll be dead.”

UFC 225 takes place on Saturday, June 9 from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois with Robert Whittaker and Yoel Romero headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
