Bobby Green Wants A Rematch With Lando Vannata

MMA

Lando Vannata was last seen in action in the co-main event of UFC 234, defeating Marcos Mariano by first round submission.

Bobby Green, a one time foe of Vannata, would like the two to battle it out once against inside of the Octagon.

The lightweight fighter would make his intentions known via a video on Instagram:

@groovylando what do you think bro

Here is a translation of what Green said in the video, provided by MMA Junkie:

“‘Groovy,’ you did your thing, bro. You was real good in your last fight. I heard you called out Jim Miller, but Jim Miller happens to be fighting one of my boys. SO how bout we take the same card and me and you hope in there and do part two. Me and you.”

Green and Vannata first collided at UFC 216 in October of 2017, with that bout ending via a split draw. Green has won just one of two since that first meeting, while Vannata has won just one of three fights.

There has been no response from Vannata, who fought less than a week ago at the aforementioned UFC 234 card in Brazil.
