For several weeks, Colby Covington has talked about some footage he has of his ex-teammate Dustin Poirier dropping one of his sparring partners on purpose in his training camp in preparation for Khabib Nurmagomedov.
In the interviews where Covington has mentioned the sparring footage, he made it out to be very violent which painted Poirier as a very bad person.
Covington has now released the footage on Twitter so you can judge it for yourself.

As you can see in the video, Poirier does drop his sparring partner but the footage is not as violent as Covington originally suggested.
How hard Poirier was going on his sparring partner is of course controversial but at the same time, it is understandable as at the time of the footage he was preparing for the biggest fight of his career against Khabib Nurmagomedov.
In response to Covington releasing the footage, another one of Covington's ex-teammates Jorge Masvidal told Covington to release the footage of Poirier dropping Covington.

Conor McGregor's change in preparation
One of the things which were criticized about Conor McGregor's approach to his second fight with Dustin Poirier is that many fans and analysts believed that McGregor underestimated Poirier, and that showed in his fight week antics.
During the fight week for Poirier and McGregor's fight back in January, McGregor spent the week on a luxury yacht. Compare this to McGregor's fight week for the trilogy, it seems he is in a different mindset.
