Conor McGregor: “Surgery Went Excellent”

A post-surgery update from Conor McGregor.

Conor McGregor’s return to the octagon was short-lived, as in the opening minute of his UFC 329 bout against Max Holloway, he went down with a knee injury, and the fight was ruled in Holloway’s favor. It was later revealed that McGregor suffered ACL and meniscus injuries.

Taking to his Instagram Story, McGregor shared that he underwent surgery. He wrote:

“Surgery went excellent. I am confident.”

Before the Holloway fight, McGregor lost his last two MMA bouts, both to Dustin Poirier. His last win was in January 2020 at UFC 246 against Donald Cerrone.
