Cris Cyborg-Arlene Blencowe Rematch, Sergio Pettis-Raufeon Stots Title Fight Headline Bellator 279 In Hawaii

Bellator will be making its return to Hawaii for the first time since December 2019, as Bellator 278 and 279 are set to take place at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center in Honolulu, Hawaii on April 22 and 23.

KHON2 News' Christian Shimabuku was the first to report the news of Bellator's return to Hawaii this spring, although the promotion themselves have yet to confirm anything regarding either event or the following fight bookings. No matchups have been revealed for the Bellator 278 card on April 22, but the Bellator 279 event on April 23 is set to feature two title fights in its headlining bouts. Reigning Bellator women's featherweight champion Cris Cyborg and Arlene Blencowe are expected to clash in a rematch from their first fight back at Bellator 249, while Bellator bantamweight champion Sergio Pettis will take on Raufeon Stots to kickoff the Bellator Bantamweight World Grand Prix.
