Cris Cyborg Open To Appearances In WWE & AEW

Cris Cyborg recently signed the largest female MMA contract ever when the fighter inked a multi-fight deal with Bellator MMA.

It would appear that Cyborg has an interest in professional wrestling, as she is open to appearing for both the WWE and AEW.

“I love both AEW and WWE and the fans of professional wrestling are always stopping me in the street asking me when I am going to have a wrestling match,” Cyborg said to MMA Fighting. “If the opportunity presents itself, and the deal makes sense, I would love to challenge myself with pro wrestling.”

Cyborg has teased bouts in the past with Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and longtime MMA rival Ronda Rousey, but nothing ever came to fruition.

Even though Cyborg is open to pro wrestling appearances, all of her focus at the moment is on mixed martial arts.

“My focus right now is on becoming the only champion in MMA to win all four of the major world titles in the same weight class,” she said.

There has been no comment from either the WWE or AEW or any other wrestling promotion at this time as to whether or not they have any interest in signing Cyborg.
