Cyborg & Dana White Helping Cancer Survivor At UFC 214

Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino is facing Tonya Evinger for the vacant UFC Women’s Featherweight Title tonight at UFC 214.

Ashlynn (no last name given) won the “Cyborgnation” fan contest on Youtube and is also a cancer survivor.

For winning the contest, the cancer survivor will get backstage access to meet fighters and also watch the UFC 214 card with cage side seats.

“For me, she’s the real champ,” Cyborg said at the UFC 214 open workouts.

One opportunity Ashlynn was supposed to receive was to walk on stage with Cyborg during the UFC 214 ceremonial weigh-in, but logistical issues have prevented that from happening.

This is where UFC President Dana White stepped in, because he is giving Ashlynn backstage access to the fighters after the ceremonial weigh-in and he has upgraded her seating at UFC 214 to his personal seating section.

This beautiful angel is named Ashlynn. She is 6 years old and a cancer survivor and fighter! She currently lives in Huntington Beach and wants to start training martial arts! Ashlynn and her mother were selected as winners of the #cyborgnation YouTube challenge. Unfortunately my team was unable to secure the steps needed in time to allow young Ashlynn to step on stage for the @fs1 weigh ins in Friday, however @danawhite came through in an amazing way! After hearing Ashlynn's story he has arranged for her and her guests to go back stage after the weigh ins to meet all the fighters, AND THEN he is treating them to tickets inside his personal seating section at #ufc214!! Amazing to see Dana help give this girl such a memorable experience! I want to thank the @ufc and their team for working together to help give Ashlynn the weekend of a lifetime #ufc214 this Saturday!
