Cyril Asker walked into UFC Fight Night 103 battling Dmitry Smoliakov, and wound up earning a first round TKO win.
Asker is now 1-1-0 under the UFC banner, but all he wants is some time with his family.
“Now, I’ll take time to rest,” Asker told MMA Junkie. “I’ll kiss my girlfriend. I have a four-month old boy. So it’s difficult to make the fight camp, the baby, the girlfriend, (and) the job. It’s very difficult – you can’t imagine. I give big thanks to my girlfriend and my son.”
It's only been around a week since Asker got that dominant victory over Smoliakov, but he seems ready to take on another fight.
“We are patient,” Asker’s rep clarified. “We wait for the UFC to give us our next opponent.”
Asker currently holds a record of 8-2-0 record as a professional MMA fighter, he has also competed three times under the Extreme Fighting Championships banner, where he holds a win over UFC veteran Ruan Potts. Asker also made his professional MMA debut in the Cage Warriors promotion, where he defeated Adam Brearley by first round TKO at Cage Warriors Fight Night 4.
