Dan Henderson Says Khabib Nuramgomedov Would “Beat The Piss” Out Of Conor McGregor

Khabib Nurmagomedov has been demanding his opportunity for a UFC Lightweight Title shot against champion Conor McGregor. If the fight does come to fruition, MMA legend Dan Henderson says that Khabib would “beat the piss” out of the champion.

"I think he definitely would take him down and beat the piss out of him,” Henderson said on The Adam Carolla Show.

Dark Side Of The Cage To Premiere In January, Will Cover Ronda Rousey, Matt Hughes, Kimbo Slice, More

While Henderson does pick Khabib to beat McGregor, he believes that McGregor brings a great skills set to the octagon.

"I don't dislike him," Henderson said of McGregor. "I think it took me a while to kind of get onboard with him, just to see a little bit more well-roundedness. He's always shown that he's got good hands, good kicks, but to see him against a couple different wrestlers that had good hands, it took me awhile to get onboard with him. I think Eddie just did not fight a smart fight whatsoever. He didn't use his wrestling whatsoever.”

Henderson, despite being retired from MMA competition, will get a chance to face former UFC Light Heavyweight Jon Jones at Submission Underground II.

"This is a grappling match, and I think that nobody has really ever seen me grapple in most of my fights," Henderson said. "I just typically try and knock people out and stand on my feet most of the time. I'm actually pretty good at grappling, and I plan on ripping his leg off."

Submission Underground II takes place on Sunday, December 11 from the Roseland Theater in Portland, Oregon with Dan Henderson and Jon Jones headlining.
