UFC President Dana White and actress Halle Berry are teaming up to hold a charity raffle, with 100% of the proceeds going to Feeding America, Meals On Wheels, World Central Kitchen, and No Kid Hungry.
Whomever wins the raffle will get a UFC VIP Experience, a dinner with Berry and an opportunity to book a fight in the UFC.
“(The winner) will sit in a matchmaking meeting, and I’m actually going to let them make a fight,” White said to TMZ Sports (via Nolan King of MMA Junkie).
There are going to be other prizes as well, but the winner could become the first non-UFC employee to help book a fight within the promotion.
The winner not only gets to book a fight in the UFC, but will also get the chance to partake in an actual matchmaking session with other UFC personnel.
“There’s a process to the matchmaking,” White said. “What happens is there are four of us: Sean Shelby, Mick Maynard, Hunter Campbell, and me. So it’s not this (thing where) I walk in and go ‘We’re doing this, that, and the other thing.’ It’s a process. We argue. We fight. ‘This ain’t gonna happen. We can’t do this. We can’t do that.’ It’s a long drawn-out process that goes on. They’ll be part of the bickering and the arguing and we’ll see where he comes out in the end and what he gets.”
