Dana White On Jon Jones vs. Israel Adesanya: “That’s The Fight To Make 100 Percent”

UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya and Jon Jones have had quite the war of words in recent months and UFC President Dana White wants to book the fight.

White says that when it comes to Jones and Adesanya, it’s the fight to make.

“That’s the fight to make, 100 percent,” White told UFC Arabia (via Mike Bohn of MMA Junkie). “I think that a fight between those two is massive.”

Jones recently vacated the light heavyweight title to prepare for a move up to heavyweight. The UFC President says that it is up to Adesanya right now about whether or not the bout against Jones will come to fruition.

“It doesn’t depend on what I want; it depends on what they want to do,” White said. “Adesanya is a champ. He’s really coming into his own, and you can tell he knows this is his house, and he comes and acts like it. I think he wants the winner of Whittaker and Cannonier, and then we’ll see what happens after that.”
