Dana White Meeting With Conor McGregor This Week To Discuss The Fighter’s Future

Former two division champion Conor McGregor hasn’t been seen in the Octagon since defeating Eddie Alvarez to win the UFC Lightweight Title at UFC 205.

While the former champions future is still unknown, one thing UFC President Dana White is doing this weekend is meeting with McGregor to figure things out.

“Obviously he has to deal with that in June,” White said on ESPN’s Sportscenter. “I’m flying to Liverpool this weekend for a fight there, and he and I are going to meet in Liverpool.”

White is going to be in Liverpool for the UFC Fight Night Liverpool event, it is unknown if McGregor will also attend the show.

The UFC President would also look to see McGregor figure out his legal problems, which stems from a bus attack prior to UFC 223.

“We’re going to sit down and talk about his future and what’s next,” White said. “But obviously I have nothing to do with the legal issues. He has to figure that out on his own.”

McGregor hasn’t competed in any fashion since suffering a tenth round TKO loss to Floyd Mayweather last August, a fight that marked the Irishman’s pro boxing debut.
