Dana White Reveals Impending Plans For Future Khamzat Chimaev-Colby Covington Fight: "I Would Love To Do Khamzat vs. Colby"

UFC President Dana White seems to have big plans for surging undefeated UFC welterweight contender Khamzat Chimaev.

White spoke with the guys on The Pat McAfee Show and revealed that if Chimaev defeats Gilbert Burns at UFC 273 this weekend, he'd like to make a fight between the 27-year old Chechen star and former interim UFC welterweight champion, Colby Covington, next on a yet-to-be-announced event that will broadcast on ABC.

“I think that if Khamzat Chimaev wins this weekend, we see him and Colby Covington next,” White said (h/t MMA Junkie). "So I have a fight coming up on ABC, and in a perfect world, if everything plays out right, I would love to do Khamzat vs. Colby (there) if Khazmat should win on Saturday night.”
