Dana White Says Another UFC/Mayweather Promotions Cross Promotion Is “Very Possible”

Mayweather Promotions and the UFC worked together to cross promote a boxing match between Floyd Mayweather and former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor, which Mayweather won via tenth round TKO.

UFC President Dana White was recently asked by TMZ Sports about cross promoting another event and White told them that it is “very possible.”

The obvious interest could be for a rematch between Mayweather and McGregor, but White isn’t too keen on that idea since McGregor is retired.

“I know [Mayweather] would rematch Conor McGregor, but I don’t know if you heard about this, but Conor McGregor’s retired,” White said (via MMA Fighting). “When I’m doing things right now and running business, I don’t even think about Conor. Conor is retired. As of right here now today, Conor is retired until Conor tells me differently, I’m not trying to make any fights for Conor.”

Floyd Mayweather did tease interest in crossing over into mixed martial arts in the past, but nothing has ever come of it. McGregor, who retired a short time after UFC 250, has yet to reveal much about any future plans, other than an “I’m In” tweet directed at Khamzat Chimaev.
