Dana White Reacts To Scott Coker Claiming Bellator Has Best 205 Division: "Isn't He Cute?"

UFC President Dana White does not believe there is any competition between UFC and Bellator's light heavyweight divisions.

Both the UFC and Bellator have some of the best light heavyweight fighters in the world, which has naturally led to a rivalry between the promotions. Bellator President Scott Coker recently stated that Bellator has the best light heavyweight division, a statement that UFC President Dana White finds silly.

“Isn’t he cute?” White said at the UFC Fight Night: Munhoz vs. Edgar post-fight press conference (via Steven Marrocco of MMA Fighting). “Everybody they have in their light heavyweight division, we let go of. He’s got the best light heavyweight division? We let those guys all go. It’s like the f*cking dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. But I get it. He’s gotta try to f*cking do his thing. I’m not sh*tting on him. He’s gotta try to do his thing. He’s got to try and sell fights. The way you don’t sell fights is, ‘Oh, I’ve got the best light heavyweight division in the world.’ Everybody that was there was let go from here. That’s a pretty silly statement.”

Coker’s light heavyweight division recently got a big boost when the promotion signed former UFC fighter Corey Anderson. It is highly unlikely that the matter will ever officially be settled, as neither promotion will likely agree to a cross promotional fight to prove who has the best 205 pounder.
