Dana White Says There Are No Plans For UFC To Move Events In The Middle East As Of Now

Dana White says the UFC is moving forward with events in the Middle East as of now.
Riyadh has been targeted by counterattacks from Iran since major hostilities broke out at the end of February. The U.S. Embassy in Riyadh was struck in early March, reportedly by an Iranian drone. Iran continues to hit U.S. allies in the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and Qatar with ballistic missiles, cluster warheads, and drones.
Speaking at the UFC Fight Night post-show press conference, Dana White was asked the upcoming UFC schedule and if they would be moving events.
“No. As of right now, no.”
UFC Fight Night is scheduled to take place in Baku, Azerbaijan on June 27th and there is an Abu Dhabi event in July, though it hasn’t officially been announced.
