Darren Till On Social Media: “You Should Listen To The Haters And The Trolls Both Ways”

Darren Till has had many rivalries throughout his professional MMA career and some of those rivalries have happened on social media.

When it comes to social media, one thing Till believes is that you have to listen to the haters and the trolls.

“I think you should listen to the haters and the trolls both ways,” Till told MMA Junkie. “I think you should listen to them and let it fuel you. Sometimes I’ve seen trolls and haters say valid things about myself and think, ‘He’s actually quite right. I need to do that. I need to work on that and write it down in my notes.'”

Till’s current social media feud involves fellow UFC fighter Mike Perry, as Till recently offered Perry $5,000 to corner him at UFC 255. The UFC star says he takes time to bask in all the hate and negativity that comes with social media.

“And even more now in fighting and in life in general, I couldn’t give a (expletive)," he said. “My advice is to take it all in, bask in the hate, bask in the negativity of comments, bask in the positive, back in everything. Why should you only bask in the positive? Bask in the gegative as well, but that’s just me.”
