Darren Till Will Probably Fight At Middleweight Next

Darren Till hasn’t competed since suffering a second round knockout loss to Jorge Masvidal in the main event of UFC Fight Night London.

A defeated Till, who has missed weight for multiple UFC bouts in the past, will probably compete at middleweight next.

“Most probably, yeah,” Till said to BT Sport (via Farah Hannoun of MMA Junkie). “Like, I think it’s important to implement a few other, like I say, tweaking, and I’ve been lifting a little bit, just a tiny bit. As I say, I’ve been improving my nutrition and other things by 5 percent. I’m ready to go in four weeks for the fight. No one trains like me, they just don’t. I know they don’t.”

Till has spent his entire UFC career competing at welterweight, so a move up in weight class would mark his UFC Middleweight Division debut.

The fighter doesn’t have a bout booked at the moment, but would like to return to action before Christmas.

“Before Christmas, I’m definitely out, I definitely want to fight,” Till said. “I can’t wait to get back in and move around and stuff like that, so we’ll see.”

There are a total of sixteen UFC events scheduled between now and the end of the year, giving Till plenty of time to compete again.
