David Teymur Faces Don Madge At UFC Fight Night Liverpool

A lightweight division affair has been added to the UFC Fight Night Liverpool card as David Teymur is going to be in action against Don Madge.

Teymur (7-1-0) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, earning victories over Martin Svensson, Jason Novelli, Lando Vannata and Drakkar Klose. Teymur has seen his last two bouts in the UFC go the distance and it has been almost two years since the competitor got a finish. Teymur competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 22, making it to the semi-finals before losing to Marcin Wrzosek.

Madge (7-3-1) is going to be making his UFC debut in this fight and he does so on the strength of a four bout winning streak. Madge is a former EFC Worldwide Lightweight Champion, defeating Dave Mazany at EFC Worldwide 58 to claim the gold. Madge has suffered a total of three losses as a professional MMA fighter, with all of them coming to the same fighter in Leon Mynhardt.

UFC Fight Night Liverpool takes place on Sunday, May 27 from the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England with Stephen Thompson and Darren Till headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
