Demetrious Johnson and Eddie Alvarez are headed to TNT as part of ONE Championship's packed primetime show on April 7.
Johnson (30-3-1) will contend for the ONE Championship flyweight title against defending champion Adriano Moraes (18-3). "Mighty Mouse" earned the title shot after beating three opponents in a seven-month span to clinch the ONE Championship Flyweight Grand Prix.
Alvarez (29-7) looks to start his first winning streak in nearly five years when he faces Iuri Lapicus (14-1) on the same card. "The Underground King" is on a 1-1 stretch since jumping ship from UFC to ONE Championship.
ONE Championship announced the impending card on Friday. The show marks a big opportunity for the promotion to expand into the American market. TNT is a primetime U.S. network with such programming as NBA on TNT and All Elite Wrestling (AEW). ONE Championship has two other upcoming cards announced: Unbreakable II on January 29 and Unbreakable II on February 5.
Also on the April 7 card is a ONE Championship flyweight Muay Thai championship fight between Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Jacob Smith.
