Dillon Danis Undergoes Seven Hour Knee Surgery

MMA

Dillon Danis hasn’t been seen in action since the fighter scored a first round submission victory over Max Humphrey at Bellator 222 in June of 2019.

It is going to be quite a while before the fighter is seen in action again because Danis recently underwent a seven hour reconstructive knee surgery.

The fighter commented on the medical procedure via Twitter:

Bellator MMA officials also issued the following statement to MMA Junkie on Danis’ condition:

“We’ll be in touch with Dillon and his management team in the coming weeks to discuss a potential timeline for his return. In the meantime, we wish him a full and speedy recovery.”

There is no word yet as to a timeline for Danis’ return to action, but more should be known as the fighter heals up from the surgery.
