Many fans were looking forward to an exciting bout between two veterans, Donald Cerrone and Joe Lauzon at UFC 274, however the fight did not go ahead as Cerrone was forced to withdraw from the bout just hours before the main card due to food poisoning.

The UFC president Dana White confirmed that Cerrone went to a restaurant for dinner after the ceremonial weigh ins and after he couldn't keep food or liquids down him so he was forced out of the fight.

The UFC has now rebooked the fight for another date very very soon.

In a post to social media today which Cerrone uploaded, he confirmed that he has two more fights left in him and then it will be curtains on his MMA career.

Check out the post below to see what Cerrone had to say.

Cerrone confirmed that he will get to 50 fights under Zuffa and then call it quits on his historic MMA career.

Even though Cerrone has been on an obvious downward trajectory over the last few years, he will always be remembered as a guy who was entertaining and would fight anyone anywhere at any time.

When he retires he will likely hold records such as the most fights in UFC history and the most performance/fight of the night bonuses.
