Donald Cerrone vs Diego Sanchez scrapped
A grudge match between legends Donald Cerrone and Diego Sanchez is not happening anytime soon.
Sanchez withdrawal from the fight with Cerrone at UFC Vegas 26 on Saturday, May 8. Cerrone is expected to stay on the card and fight a replacement. The news was first reported by Carlos Contreras Legaspi and subsequently confirmed by MMA Fighting. The card already took a big hit after former UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw pulled out of the main event vs. Cory Sandhagen.
Mickey Gall back vs. Jordan Williams
Dana White's Lookin' For a Fight alum Mickey Gall looks to get back in the win column vs. Jordan Williams at a UFC card on July 24.
The welterweight contest was first reported by MMA Fighting. Gall has alternated wins and losses in his last six fights, most recently losing to Mike Perry. Williams lost his UFC debut to Nassourdine Imavov after winning a contract on his third Contender Series outing.
Darrion Caldwell and Leonardo Caldwell meet again
Former Bellator bantamweight champion Darrion Caldwell returns to his old stomping grounds against a familiar foe in Leonardo Higo.
Caldwell (15-4) will move back to bantamweight for the first time in two years to fight Higo (20-5) at Bellator 259 in Uncasville, Connecticut., per MMA Fighting. The two first met at Bellator 195 in March 2018. Caldwell successfully defending his bantamweight strap via first-round submission vs. Higo.
Bellator 259 is headlined by a Bellator featherweight championship fight between Cris Cyborg and challenger Leslie Smith.
Matthew Semelsberger vs. Khaos Williams

Wild-haired Matthew Semelsberger (8-2) will try to hand Khaos Williams (11-2) his second consecutive UFC loss at the event headlined by "Korean Zombie" Chan Sung Jung vs. Dan Ige, per MMA Junkie. Semelsberger is undefeated in his first two UFC outings; meanwhile, fellow welterweight Williams is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Michel Pereira.
