The oft-hated Colby Covington came to the cage to Kurt Angle's WWE theme, looking to garner the "you suck" chants that followed Angle, and the crowd didn't disappoint. With President Donald Trump tweeting him, and Eric and Donald Trump Jr. in the crowd, the pressure was on for Covington. He'd already been stripped of the Interim Welterweight Title he'd won due to injuries, and a loss to his former teammate in Lawler would put him at the end of the line.

What followed was a one-sided fight that saw Covington dominate all aspects of the fight for the duration of five rounds on his way to a unanimous decision win.

UFC Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman watched on, as the Trump brothers were thrilled by Covington's performance. Covington trashed Lawler before stumbling through a promo calling out Usman to fight him tonight.
