Drakkar Klose made his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 103, where he defeated fellow UFC debutante Devin Powell by unanimous decision.
Powell impressed UFC President Dana White on the “Lookin’ For A Fight” reality show, but Klose didn't feel the same.
“I thought he was going to be more aggressive,” Klose said to MMA Junkie. “It felt like he was running. I wish he was just a little tougher. He has the heart, but he doesn’t have the fight in him. It’s entertaining. I was trying to get ‘Fight of the Night,’ something. But it is what it is. Next fight, I’m going for the ($50,000 fight-night bonus).”
Klose also says that the minute he entered the octagon, he felt he belonged in the UFC.
“Once I got in there, I felt like I belonged there,” Klose said. “I train with the best. I’m just glad I got the opportunity to do it on short notice.”
Klose also competed once under the Resurrection Fighting Alliance banner, where he defeated Hugh Pulley by unanimous decision, Klose is also a veteran of the Tachi Palace Fights and the Rage In The Cage promotions, his MMA record is 7-0-1-1NC).
