Elizabeth Phillips Still Peeved At Reebok For Wardrobe Malfunction

Despite Reebok's reassurances, Elizabeth Phillips isn't convinced the company is preventing wardrobe malfunctions.

The UFC Bantamweight fighter had an incident at UFC on Fox 16, when her Reebok sports bra had major issues, even exposing her at one point. According to Phillips, she's doubling her Reebok bra against Raquel Pennington at UFC 202.

"It's pretty low cut," Phillips told MMA Fighting of the Reebok sports bras. "I feel like they're doing it to make us look more feminine or reveal us more or something. I don't know what the point of that is, because there's no reason for it to be cut so low where it's all the way down like this when most bras don't do that. I'm definitely gonna double up this time, because I definitely don't trust their bras."

Several women have had issues with the mandatory Reebok gear, most recently Valerie Letourneau. New regulations were passed by the ABC in which prohibit loose-fitting tops for women. Phillips, however, still wants to let Reebok know she has grievances.

"I don't really talk to Reebok personally, but if I did I would give them sh*t about it," Phillips said. "It's funny, because I've never had a problem with bras fighting before," she said.

Phillips will face Raquel Pennington tonight at UFC 202. You can read more from Elizabeth Phillips over at MMA Fighting.
