MAIN CARD

Anthony Dirrell vs. Norbert Nemesapati: Super Middleweight bout

Round 1: nemesapati begins with leading on the left jab. Dirrell then responds with a wild right hook and then connects on an uppercut. Both men exchange shots. Dirrell connects on the 1-2 combo. Both men clinch and Nemesapati connects on a left hook to Dirrell's jaw. Nemesapati hits Dirrell with a three-punch combo and connects on a left jab. Dirrell responds with a big combo finishing with the left hook.

Fightful scores round 1 for Dirrell 10-9

Round 2: Direll starts off connecting a string of punches and Nemesapati takes the punches and goes to the ropes. Both men clinch once more. Nemesapati is hitting on body shots to Dirrell and hits a left jab to Dirrell's jaw. the two boxers trade shots again and Dirrell gets the better of the exchange with a left hook. Dirrell connects on two uppercuts and several combos. He forces Nemesapati to the ropes again and is absorbing several power punches to end the round.

Round 3: Dirrell swings and misses with the right hook. Dirrell blocks two straight jabs from Nemesapati and now both men clinch once more. Dirrell moves Nemesapati to the corner but Nemesapati is not fazed by Dirrell's pressure. Nemesapati gets his turn pressuring his opponent to the corner and lands an uppercut. Dirrell then starts throwing punch that are making their way down below. Dirrell now has a bloody nose. Dirrell is now unloading on several body shots and hurts Nemesapati to end the round.

Round 4: Not much activity in the first 30 seconds of the fight. Nemesapati lands a short left jab and is pacing himself around the ring. Dirrell lands a lab of his own. Dirrell is now landing several hard shots and Nemesapati is on the ropes. Dirrell is still landing short punches and is constantly on the verge of doing real damage.

Fightful scores round 4 for Dirrell 10-9

Round 5: Both men start clinching and then Dirrell gets a couple of good body shots in. The two men trade punches and Nemesapati is utilizing the short uppercut as offense. Four-punch combo from Dirrell connects. Dirrell taunts Nemesapati and then dishes out two straight punches. Dirrell continues with the body shots and hits an uppercut to Nemesapati's jaw.

Fightful scores round 5 for Dirrell 10-9

Round 6: Dirrell starts off with a jab. Nemesapati connects on a left jab and then hits a left hook. Two straight jabs from Dirrell follow. Nemesapati stands along the ropes as he keeps getting dealt with shot after shot. The commentators are saying the referee could stop the fight. The two men exchange punches, keeping Nemesapati's chances at the referee allowing the fight to continue pretty well. Dirrell is now trying to go for hard hooks and doesn't solidly connect on them.

Round 7: Nemesapati's corner stops the fight and the referee agrees to stop the fight.
