Eryk Anders Gets Hand Surgery After UFC 231

Eryk Anders competed on the preliminary card of UFC 231, suffering a split decision loss to Elias Theodorou.

The fighter also suffered a broken hand in the second round of the middleweight encounter, an injury that required surgery.

Anders would reveal the news via a series of posts on Instagram:

 

 

There is no word yet on when Anders will return to action, but more should be known as the surgically repaired hand heals up.

Anders holds a record of 3-3-0 in the UFC (11-3-0 overall), with wins coming over the trio of Rafael Natal, Markus Perez and Tim Williams. Anders has also headlined two UFC events already, competing in the main events of UFC Fight Night Belem and UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo.
