“Perfect, its a great fight for me stylistically. We’re both really aggressive strikers…(always) coming forward, it should be one for the fans. Either way I’m gonna come out on top, so its gonna be good. I know its gonna be good and I’m gonna match up great, I’m excited to show people what I’m all about,” says Brown in an exclusive interview with Fightful’s James Lynch.

Brown and Price are both known for their finishing abilities, with 18 fights between them being won by KO/TKO and/or submission.

The welterweight prospect would like to get a top 15 or top 10 ranked opponent after his bout against Price.

“Yes, absolutely, I mean I tried in this fight. It didn’t happen and we got Niko Price instead, but this guy…he’s very dangerous. Its a good match and after this, hopefully I can break into the top 15…maybe even a top 10 opponent. Depending on how this goes, I’m looking to make this spectacular,” says Brown.

UFC Fight Night Boise takes place on Saturday, July 15 from the Century Link Arena in Boise, Idaho with Junior Dos Santos and Blagoy Ivanov headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
