UFC 232's Cris Cyborg Talks Amanda Nunes, Training With Valentina Shevchenko & WWE Crossover

UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion Cyborg is back in action at UFC 232, defending the gold against UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes.

One person that Cyborg has been training with recently is UFC Women’s Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko and that’s somebody Cyborg wants to work with again in the future.

“Valentina has a lot of experience, she has almost like 100 muay thai fights. I think its great (because) you learn more when you’re a champion and we’re all champions, you learn more. I think this is great, you can share you know…the experience. Everything’s cool,” says Cyborg.

Shevchenko is also a valuable training partner for Cyborg because she has previously fought Nunes twice before in the UFC.

A longtime rival of Cyborg is Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and the UFC star says that a jump to the WWE may happen one day for herself.

“I’m happy she’s happy, I think she did a lot of stuff for MMA and she’s doing great for the WWE. You know, maybe if I have the opportunity (to go to the WWE), why not? I like challenges and its very dangerous to fight in MMA and then go do that,” says Cyborg.

UFC 232 takes place on Saturday, December 29 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
