Fabricio Werdum & Colby Covington Comment On Werdum’s Potential USADA Violation

MMA

Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Fabricio Werdum was recently notified of a potential drug testing violation by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA).

Shortly after the news broke, a hopeful Werdum took to Instagram to say that his team is working with USADA to get the matter resolved:

Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler Officially Announced For UFC 303, Will Take Place At Welterweight

Hey guys, I got up this morning to the news that one of my urine samples from April tested positive for a prohibited substance. I am working with my team, the UFC and USADA to understand what happened. I’ve always been careful with everything I take and I’ve always supported a clean sport. We will work hard to solve this misunderstanding and I hope soon to be able to go back to the octagon and do what I love

One of Werdum’s biggest haters is welterweight fighter Colby Covington, who Werdum assaulted with a boomerang days before the UFC Fight Night Sydney card earlier this year.

Covington went on Twitter and he didn’t repair the broken relation with Werdum in any way while discussing the potential USADA violation:

If Werdum is found guilty on the violation from USADA, it could mean a one year or longer suspension and a financial penalty.
