February 16 Boxing Show To Be Streamed On UFC Fight Pass

Less than three weeks after UFC streams its first boxing show in a new deal with Roy Jones Jr. Boxing Promotions, a second card is set to take place. 

Roy Jones Jr. Boxing Promotions and Rite Hook Promotions are promoting a boxing show at St. Petersburg Coliseum in St. Petersburg, Florida on February 16. NABF Continental Americas lightweight champion William Silva will headline the show which will be streamed on UFC Fight Pass against an opponent to be named at a later date.

Undefeated middleweight prospect Connor Coyle will fight in a 10-round bout that will serve as the co-main event. Other fighters announced for the show are American Boxing Federation (ABF) Continental Americas welterweight titleholder Mark Reyes, undefeated middleweight Javonn Barnes, middleweight prospect Antonio Tarver, Jr., the son of former world champion Antonio Tarver, super flyweight prospect Jasmine Artega and heavyweight Mike Bissett.

The show will be the second boxing card to be streamed on UFC Fight Pass in 2019. UFC and Roy Jones Jr. Boxing Promotions recently came to terms on a multi-year deal to have UFC stream a total of 72 boxing cards on UFC Fight Pass through 2021.

The first boxing card in the deal will take place on January 31, 2019 from Alpine, California. The main event of that card, taking place from the Viejas Casino & Resort, will be a WBO super flyweight title eliminator between Aston Palicte and Jose Martinez. The winner of that fight becomes the mandatory challenger to Donnie Nietes' title.
