Felicia Spencer Rooting For "Underrated" Megan Anderson To Upset Amanda Nunes At UFC 259

Felicia Spencer will not be surprised if Megan Anderson dethrones Amanda Nunes at UFC 259.

Spencer (8-2) has shared the Octagon with both Anderson — a first-round submission win — and Nunes — a unanimous decision loss for the UFC women's featherweight title. Ahead of UFC 259, Spencer caught up with Fightful to assess the upcoming title fight.

"I'm actually really excited for this fight. I think styles make fights and I think it's a really interesting match-up for Nunes to fight someone who is built differently than a lot of people she's fought," Spencer said. "And she's got skills. Megan Anderson is being a little underrated here. I know she's going to be the underdog. I think it would make the featherweight division interesting if she won. So I would go for the upset and pick Anderson. And then take a rematch with Megan right away."

UFC 259 takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, March 6. The pay-per-view card is headlined by a champion vs. champion super-fight between UFC light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz and challenger Israel Adesanya. The card also boasts two other title fights: Petr Yan vs. Aljamain Sterling for the UFC men's bantamweight title, and Amanda Nunes vs. Megan Anderson for the women's featherweight strap.
