- Light heavyweight Mike Lee (17-0, 10 KO) will face Chris Traietti (21-3, 17 KO) on September 30 at the UIC Forum in Chicago, Lee’s hometown, in the main event of a CBS Sports Net-televised card.

- WBA (Regular) Super Middleweight Giovanni De Carolis (24-6-1, 12 KO) and Tyron Zeuge (18-0-1, 10 KO) on November 5 at the MBS Arena in Potsdam, Germany, promoter Team Sauerland announced on August 25. This is a rematch from their July 16 fight in Berlin, where De Carolis retained via majority draw against Zeuge. One judge scored the fight 115-114 in favor of Zeuge and the two others had it 114-114.

- Former HBO Sports president Ken Hershman, whose duties included responsibility for the network’s boxing franchise during his tenure, has a new job. He was named executive chairman and commissioner of the World Esports Association, a competitive video gaming organization. Hershman was also named CEO of the WESA Agency, the media arm of the organization. WESA was founded in May 2016 by eight of the world's most popular esports teams and ESL, the world's largest esports company.

- Unbeaten junior welterweight prospects Eddie Ramirez (13-0, 9 KO) and Kevin Watts (11-0, 4 KO) will meet in the main event of a PBC card on September 13.
