Fighter Added & Fighter Removed From UFC Fight Night 102

The UFC Fight Night 102 card has undergone some changes, the first being that Raphael Assuncao has been pulled from the card after a suitable replacement for the injured Aljamain Sterling couldn’t be found in due time. The second change to the card will see Shane Burgos step in on short notice to replace an injured Zubaira Tukhugov to face Tiago Trator.

Burgos (7-0-0) will be making his UFC debut in this fight. Burgos is a longtime veteran of the Cage Fury Fighting Championships promotion. He's has yet to see any of his seven professional MMA fights go past the second round, his longest fight went nearly three minutes into the second round. This will only be the second time that Burgos has competed outside the state of New Jersey.

Tratos (20-5-2-1NC) Has won two of three fights under the UFC banner, defeating Akhbar Arreola and Clay Collard, while suffering a defeat to Mike De La Torre. Tratos is also a former Jungle Fight Lightweight Champion, he gave up the belt after signing with the UFC in 2014. Tratos will be competing in the first time in well over a year, his last bout came at UFC 191 in September of 2015.

UFC Fight Night 102 takes place on Friday, December 9 from the Times Union Center in Albany, New York with Derrick Lewis and Shamil Abdurakhimov headlining.
