Floyd Mayweather Sr. And Conor McGregor Go At It During Press Conference

Conor McGregor is not afraid to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. In the first press conference of their world tour to promote their upcoming mega fight, McGregor showed he's not afraid of the elder Mayweather.

As McGregor was talking in the press conference, he made a comment about Mayweather's father and how it's hard to differentiate both Mayweathers.

“The old man came and I don’t know who’s who," McGregor said. "I got confused, but the old man came and was saying some stuff. So whatever, I don’t know.”

Mayweather Sr. then burst into the back of the room calling out the UFC champion.

“Like what son? I will beat your ass. I will beat your ass,” Mayweather Sr. said.

McGregor would then jokingly confuse both Mayweathers, calling the elder Mayweather "Junior" and that they'll fight on August 26 as planned. The two would then trade more words for a few more minutes.

This isn't the first time Mayweather Sr. has said similar comments. Back in May, Mayweather Sr. said, "Here I am, I’m a 64-year-old man and I’ll beat your ass. I’ll beat the s**t out of McGregor! Anytime he wants it, let’s go.” Mayweather Sr. boxed professionally from 1974-90, amassing a 28-6-1 record.

Mayweather Jr. and McGregor will fight on August 26 on Showtime pay-per-view in Las Vegas. The video can be seen at this link.
