Former Glory Champ Cédric Doumbé Signs With PFL

Former two-time Glory kickboxing welterweight champion, Cédric Doumbé, has signed with the PFL.

The promotion officially announced Doumbé's signing via a tweet on Wednesday morning. The 30-year-old Douala, Cameroon native is 75-7-1 as a professional kickboxer and teased his potential promotional debut for an upcoming PFL event set for June 23 in Atlanta via a tweet shortly after the announcement. The Frenchman is also expected to be in attendance for the upcoming PFL Europe card scheduled for September 30 in Paris.

“I am a unique fighter joining a unique organization in the PFL,” Doumbé said via a press release. “I look forward to great success in the PFL.”

Doumbé transitioned to MMA back in October 2021 and is undefeated at 4-0 so far as a pro. He was originally scheduled to face, Darian Weeks, at the UFC’s Paris debut this past September, but was pulled from the bout when the commission in France wouldn’t sanction the fight due to the level of experience difference between the two.
