Former Miss World Plus-Size To Make MMA Debut, Invites Conor McGregor To Attend

Mila Kuznetsova is a former Miss World Plus-Size and an Instagram model based out of Ukraine, but soon she will get to be called an MMA fighter.

That’s because Kuznetsova is going to be competing in an exhibition MMA bout this September in Thailand, which is also where Kuznetsova will head to train.

Kuznetsova’s manager spoke to Championat about her MMA debut, while also inviting former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor to the bout (translation via Bloody Elbow).

The organizer of the MMA evening will be Russian businessman and blogger Maxim Mernes, who has been living on the island of Phuket for many years. He talked about plans to invite former UFC champion in two weight categories to the show, Conor McGregor.

“Mila will hold a show fight. We are looking for an opponent with similar parameters. Now we have three options: (an) American, (a) Russian and (a) British (fighter).”

“We are going to invite Conor McGregor as an honored guest. The show is planned for September. The date depends on external factors. I hope that we will finally decide on the date in July. We pay cryptocurrency fees to the participants of the show.” said Mernes.

There has been no word yet from McGregor, who recently retired again from professional MMA competition, as to whether or not he’ll attend the bout.

No opponent has been announced yet to face Kuznetsova, who has no combat sports experience of any kind heading into her MMA debut.
