Former UFC Owners Lorenzo & Frank Fertitta Donating $1 Million To Nevada’s Emergency Response Fund

The coronavirus is wreaking havoc worldwide and the state of Nevada is one of the locations being hit by the pandemic.

Former UFC owners Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta have decided to help the state in its battle against the coronavirus pandemic by donating $1 million to Nevada’s emergency response fund.

Stations Casinos President Richard Haskins issued the following statement on the donation to KSNV TV (transcript via MMA Junkie):

“In this time of profound crisis, nothing is more important to us than the health and well being of our team members, guests and the entire Las Vegas community. To that end, we are honored to provide this contribution to assist those serving on the front lines in the fight against COVID-19, and are deeply grateful for their tireless efforts to serve and protect all Nevadans in these unprecedented and difficult times.”

Both Frank and Lorenzo will also forego their salaries during the coronavirus pandemic.

MMA Junkie reports that approximately 2,000 people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus in the state of Nevada.
