Francis Ngannou Complimentary Of Herb Dean's Stoppage At UFC 260

New UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou was complimentary of referee Herb Dean's stoppage during his second-round knockout win over Stipe Miocic in their rematch at UFC 260.

Ngannou made an appearance on boxing legend Mike Tyson's podcast Hotboxin' with Mike Tyson alongside comedian and former UFC fighter Brendan Schaub where the Cameroonian champion defended Dean's stoppage of the UFC 260 main event citing his urgency to get in there and prevent Miocic from taking any more shots.

“I didn’t feel like I hurt him. I was like ‘Why are you falling?’ Ngannou said (h/t MiddleEasy). “I (threw the punch) just to counter and he went down and I’m like ‘Okay, what? I don’t know what happened but I have to follow to secure the win. No, honestly I watched this fight and I saw Herb Dean’s action and I think it should be the performance of the night. Did you see how fast he ran? He was moving backwards, and then after the action, you see how fast he moved in? The guy was on notice. He knew that if Francis touch him, don’t let (Francis) touch him again.”
