Frankie Edgar Calls Out Max Holloway

Former UFC Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar and UFC Featherweight Champion Max Holloway were supposed to collide on two separate occasions under the UFC banner.

Edgar, who hasn’t competed since UFC Fight Night Atlantic City, would take to Instagram to call out Holloway in an attempt to finally put the bout together:

The duo of Edgar and Holloway were supposed to meet and UFC 218 and UFC 222, with Edgar pulling out of UFC 218 due to a foot injury and Holloway pulling out of UFC 222 due to a leg injury.

There has been no response from Holloway at this time, who last competed in a losing effort to Dustin Poirier at UFC 236 last month.
