Gillian Robertson was last seen in action at UFC Fight Night Prague, defeating Veronica Macedo by second round submission.
A surging Robertson knows who she would like to fight next and that opponent comes in the form of Montana De La Rosa.
“I believe she’s a good match for me, and I believe she’s tied for the most finishes in the division, too,” Robertson told MMA Junkie.
The duo of De La Rosa and Robertson were both on the cast of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 26, but Robertson knows that she is a different fighter than the one fans saw on the reality show.
“Also, I feel like I’m a 100 percent different fighter since then,” she said. “And she probably is, too, so it would be nice to test our skills, and we’re both young competitors. I believe she is top 15, so I think I deserve that matchup.”
If the duo were to collide in the Octagon, it would give Robertson a chance to end De La Rosa’s undefeated streak in the UFC, which currently sits at 3-0-0.
