Gunnar Nelson Injured; UFC Fight Night 99 Gets New Main Event

Gunnar Nelson has suffered from a yet to be announced injury and he has been pulled from UFC Fight Night 99, where he was set to headline against Dong Hyun Kim.

UFC officials also pulled Kim from the event, as UFC officials felt they couldn't find a quality opponent for him to fight in time.

UFC Fight Night 99 will get a new main event as Gegard Mousasi will be taking on Uriah Hall in a rematch from their UFC Fight Night 75 event.

#5-ranked Mousasi (40-6-2) will enter the fight riding a three fight winning streak, with victories over Thales Leites, Thiago Santos and Vitor Belfort. Mousasi will be headlining his fifth UFC event, as his first four appearances in the UFC were main event bouts as well. Mousasi will be fighting for the fourth time this year, it is the most active he has been since 2009.

#10-ranked Hall (12-7-0) has been winless since the first win over Gegard Mousasi, dropping two fights in a row to Robert Whittaker and Derek Brunson. Hall has earned a grand total of five wins during his UFC tenure, four of those five wins came by KO/TKO. Hall did make it to the finals of the The Ultimate Fighter 17 tournament, but lost in the finals to Kelvin Gastelum via decision.

UFC Fight Night 99 takes place on November 19th from the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland with Gegard Mousasi and Uriah Hall headlining.
