Hasbro Drops Gina Carano's Action Figure From The Mandalorian

In the continuing fallout from her controversial social media posts, Gina Carano has pulled future production runs of her Hasbro toys.

The former Strikeforce fighter was fired from her role on The Mandalorian after her tweets comparing conservatives to the treatment of Jews during the Holocaust, and the effects of it continue to be rolled out. Hasbro, has issued a statement saying that while the initial run of toys sold out, they will no longer be producing anymore going forward. The toy company issued the following statement.

Rose Namajunas eyes flyweight glory

“The Star Wars Black Cara Dune figure was released in 2020 and sold out not long after the inventory was received. Hasbro planned for another production run and we were accepting preorders from that production run. Due to recent events, Hasbro was no longer approved to produce any more of this figure.”

The full effects of Carano's social media posts have yet to be known, as she has now shifted into being a key culture war figure, and becoming a totem in right-wing circles, and a pariah to corporate interests and more moderate thinking people.
