Henry Corrales is back in action at Bellator 214, facing Aaron Pico in a featherweight division attraction.

There is a lot motivating Corrales as he enters the bout, mainly because the fighter signed a new four fight deal with Bellator MMA.

“I got this deal for a reason, so I’m down to fight any of these guys,” Corrales told MMA Junkie. “It’s a big name. It’s going to be a bigger stage. It’s everything I want for my career.”

Corrales holds a 4-3-0 record in the promotion, but enters Bellator 214 while riding a four fight winning streak. Corrales has suffered three defeated in the promotion, but all of them came to fighters who have held or challenged for the Bellator Featherweight Title.

The fighter knows why Bellator put him into the cage against Pico, which is to give the fans an amazing match up.

“Bellator put this fight together for a reason,” he said. “I’m definitely not scared of any violence. I welcome it. It’s going to be a good fight for the fans.”

Bellator 214 takes place on Saturday, january 26 from The Forum in Inglewood, California with Fedor Emelianenko and Ryan Bader headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
