Ion Cutelaba Faces Khalil Rountree At UFC Fight Night Copenhagen

A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Copenhagen, first announced by the UFC Europe Twitter page, as Ion Cutelaba is in action against Khalil Rountree.

Cutelaba (14-4-0-1NC) has won two of his last three under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the duo of Gadzhimurad Antigulov and Henrique Da Silva. Cutelaba has competed nineteen times as a professional MMA fighter and just two of those bouts went the distance. Cutelaba has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter, but he has yet to be beaten by way of submission.

Rountree (8-3-0-1NC) has also won two of his last three in UFC competition, with those wins coming over the two pack of Gokhan Saki and Eryk Anders. Rountree has won just two of four bouts at UFC Fight Night events, with the wins coming at UFC Fight Night 104 and UFC Fight Night Glasgow. Rountree competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 23, making it to the semi-finals before losing to Josh Stansbury.

UFC Fight Night Copenhagen takes place on Saturday, September 28 from the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark with Jack Hermansson and Jared Cannonier headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
