Israel Adesanya Says "Dream" Gig In WWE "Definitely Is A Possibility"

Israel Adesanya can see himself transitioning from the UFC to WWE.

Adesanya (20-1) expressed his desire to step into the squared circle in an interview prior to UFC 259. "Stylebender" — still undefeated at the time — kept an open mind about one day joining the WWE ranks.

"I’ve never spoken to them about it directly but I speak to a few — well a couple of guys from the Attitude Era, my era," Adesanya told BT Sport (h/t POST Wrestling). "Never spoken about it but yeah, growing up, that was before I even knew what the UFC was or that it existed. That was definitely a dream of mine or path to I guess being where I’m at right now in the public eye was being a WWE superstar so yeah, definitely is a possibility."

The reigning UFC middleweight champion failed in his bid to become a two-division champion. He lost a unanimous decision to defending UFC light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz in the main even of UFC 259 on Saturday, March 6.
