Jack Della Maddalena vs. Islam Makhachev, Zhang Weili vs. Valentina Shevchenko Announced For UFC 322

Dana White announced the top two fights for UFC 322 at Madison Square Garden on November 15.

The main event will pit former lightweight champion Islam Makhachev challenging for the UFC Welterweight Championship against Jack Della Maddalena.

Makhachev vacated the UFC’s Lightweight Title earlier this year as he planned to move up in weight. He defended his lightweight title four times before transitioning to welterweight.

The co-main event will see former strawweight champion Zhang Weili moving up to flyweight and challenging reigning champion Valentina Shevchenko.

Also announced is Leon Edwards against Carlos Prates in a welterweight clash.
